Work update…
Well so far I have made a blog about something that was of intrest to me, being machinima, it went well but was abit rushed could of spent more time on it, also I have made a 60 second movie review about the “The Simpsons Movie”, I did hand it in quite a bit late, but I feel I done an ok job of it, I have also made a short opening for a crime series, using many people in class and im greatful for all their help, that also I done quite well in I think but once again I think I could of spent more time on to improve, like pretty much all my other work.
I currently have some videos in production about Healthy Body, Healthty mind, Sexual Education, How to survive a Zombie Apocalypse, 10 facts that could change the world and have also completed a personal blog about me and I will upload these as soon as I can…
All in all, I think Im getting along but as it’s near the end of term and it’s time to start getting serious and getting all the work done and up to good standard.
Plagiarism?!?!
Plagiarism
Plagiarism is using someone’s else work without actually asking to use it or saying that it’s not yours, you can use someone else’s information but you need to say that it is not yours and where you got the information from, but totally using someone’s work as your own is not aloud and you can be seriously disciplined for it. Even changing some words or phrases with other counts as plagiarism and doing these can cause you a lot of trouble, if you plagiarise your work at school or college then they can actually exclude you and in some cases people have be father disciplined.
If you are just simply referencing some information, like off a website, then you do need to put it in quotation marks and say what website you got it from, even if you don’t use the information in your assignment you still need to say where you got the it from, and indicate the author or organisation responsible for the website, title of the page and the URL.
If you getting information from a book or quoting it then you need to include the author, publication date, title, edition (if not the first), place of publication and publisher. Also if there two authors you need to put the name of the first and then ‘et al.’
A journal article is pretty similar to you need to note author, date, title of the article, title of the journal, volume, issue number and page number.
[i]“Many people think of plagiarism as copying another’s work, or borrowing someone else’s original ideas. But terms like “copying” and “borrowing” can disguise the seriousness of the offense”

Dr Womble Update…yeah!
So lately I have been working on a video blog about “machinima”, which has been finished and I think it came out quite well, even though there was a problem with the sound quality which is because I recorded everything and didnt relise the quality was so bad until I was editing, which was bad because I left everything to the last minute and didnt have time to do anything about it, but I guess I learnt from that to get things done a.s.a.p so if something does go wrong I got time to fix it. Other then that I think I have been doing a good job….
ZeFrank review!
Hello, Hi, I have just watched ZeFrank’s video blog and I thought it was really funny, making silly comments and breaking out into song, I think the way he connects with his audience is really impressive (e.g. giving them nicknames and replying to comments) which shows real commitment in his videos aswel as the way his edited his video, the songs he makes, by taking the video in to public, etc. Also The way he tries to get the audience to get involved by setting them challenges and asking them to send in pictures and videos is clever because it could make his connection with his audience stronger, some might even just want to watch to see if they are in his videos, also he shows real confidence in his videos by not being afraid to say whats on his mind and by actauly uploading a video of himself singing.
